Welcome to Riverrun Irish Setters, a small hobby kennel in Downeast Maine. We actively show our Irish Setters in AKC events, but we also hike with them in the abundant public land reserves available to us in our new home. Previously, we lived on Florida's Gulf Coast, but we wished to live a more rural lifestyle on more land for our setters so we relocated to Maine in the fall of 2008, after living there seasonally for several years. Even after experiencing a true old fashioned New England winter (i.e. we did not see bare ground from December to April), we are thrilled with our decision to move. Our dogs run outdoors over several fenced in acres, hike for miles in wilderness areas, and generally love the change of seasons. So do we!
